When immigrant Hispanics do not understand U.S. law, both the Hispanic
community and the legal system are negatively impacted. Hispanics' fear
increases due to their lack of knowledge. They assume they will be
prosecuted: GUILTY! They become distraught with the U.S. legal system, but with reason! They need
information in their own language!
Corte Hispana has worked with the California Bar Association, Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA),
